This power of attorney generally needs to be processed at a local law firm or notary office. You also need to bring your birth certificate to prove your custodial relationship with your parents. After the law firm prepares the power of attorney, it needs to provide a Chinese translation and then send it to the local Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Chinese Embassy Visa Center in your country for authentication.
